Lets be honest here. If Ryan Gossling approached me on the street and asked me to lunch, or to ya know, marry him (only in my dreams, haha), i would most definitely say yes. There is no doubt. Who cares if he's 32 and i'm 16. Not me, that's for sure. He's amazingly handsome, and i'm pretty sure he'd be freaking awesome in every way. Okay, in all seriousness i know Ryan Gossling won't meet me on the street, and i am totally over-glorifying him. It's just fun to think about. It's not just Ryan Gossling though. The same would go for Hugh Jackman (age 44, but whatever), Tyson Beckford (age 42, which i can't believe) and depending on the day (and hairstyle) James Franco could be included. They are all completely attractive men, and i am just a silly 16 year old totally crushing on people twice my age, and WAY out of my league. Typical.

The real point of this post wasn't to blab on and on about famous guys that i find incredibly hot. Even though i could do that for a long time. I want to talk about age. I asked my friends at lunch if they would marry/date a guy who is 30 and up, even though we're all 16-18. Some people said yes for two reasons. One being they're more mature, and another being they would die faster and my friends would get the money (gold diggers in the making....JUST KIDDING!!!). The rest of my friends said no because that it too old. It'd be at least a 14 year difference for most of us, and that just doesn't work out. All of this just made me think a little bit. What does age matter in a relationship? Does it matter if the guy i want to marry is more than twice my age?

In my opinion age does matter. I don't think relationships with more than a 5-6 year age gap will work too well.  People dating other people 20 years older them means that one person grew up in a TOTALLY different time. Their experiences aren't as relatable and one person would already be halfway done with life when anothers life is just starting. It just seems to me that it'd almost be like dating your parent. I don't know about anyone else, but i'd much rather date someone who is closer to my age and still see's things similarly to how i do. Just my opinion.

I honestly didn't have much to say aside from that. HOWEVER (yes, i love caps), there is one man i forgot to mention in the beginning and boy oh boy does he deserve it. **I'm not alone on this one, my 11 year old cousin is crazy for him too.** Ladies and Gentlemen, Josh Turner. Oh man, he is something. His voice is amazing. AMAZING. He has gorgeous eyes, he sings wonderful songs, he's so attractive, he loves animals (thanks CMT for telling me that), etc. He is just wonderful. You should look him up. He's only 35. However he is married (but that doesn't change much because i'd never meet him in the first place). Either way, i do indeed like Josh Turner. A LOT.
